College Street Baptist Church
Connect With God
1. Admit that you are a sinner and that there is nothing you can do
to help or save yourself ~ Romans 3:10,23
2. Believe that Jesus is God's Son and that He died on the cross for
you. He is the only way of salvation and by faith you must repent
of your sins and acknowledge your need for a Savior ~
Romans 5:8; John 14:6; Romans 6:23
3. Confess Jesus as your Savior. Bow your head and talk to God,
by praying a prayer like this: "Dear Jesus, I know I'm a sinner.
Please forgive me of all my sins, come into my life and make
me a new person. Thank you for saving me and help me to live
for you. In Jesus name, amen" ~ Romans 10:9-10,13
4. Grow in your new found faith. However, you cannot do it by
yourself. Just like a new baby needs care, you also need someone
to help you to grow spiritually and CSBC would like to help ~
2 Peter 3:18
